Intonjutsu is the art of escape and concealment. Otherwise known as the art of "disappearing". It encompasses such skills as Gotonpō , and Shinobi Aruki. These techniques are practised on occasion by Ninjutsu masters.
Gotonpō is the ninja art of concealing oneself using the five elements of earth, fire, water, wood, and metal. It is usually shown as a magical art in movie and television , allowing the user to perform feats of mystical power (Magic)
Doton no jutsu
"Earth Evasion". Includes concepts like raising clouds of dirt, burying oneself a few centimetres below the earth, using sand or dirt to blind the enemy, etc...
Mokuton no jutsu
"Wood Evasion". Is usually defined as the use of trees, climbing trees, running up trees, or various rope techniques.
Suiton no jutsu
"Water Evasion". This could be concealment in a river or lake, or using water for metsubushi.
Katon no jutsu
Literally "Fire Evasion". Smokescreens, explosives, pepper bombs, and tactical fires fall into this category.
Kinton no jutsu
"Metal Evasion". Shurikenjutsu is usually an important part of this. Shuriken, as well as other metal weapons, could be used to reflect sunlight into an opponents eyes, or act as a distraction.
