Greetings to one-n-all on this forum. I have recenty started Kick-boxing. can anyone recommend a useful video to watch on techniques. Regards to all, Eastender.

A friend reccomeneded the dvd listed below, so ive found the following information on it to help you help. Maybe this will be a good start for you.

But you cant keep the google videos.
Its good to own these dvd's so you can always go back to them for technique ideas.

Can you actually learn alot from videos or not?
I have found i dont learn as much from videos as I would from an instructor.
Is this normal?

I think you can actually learn alot from these videos but you need the right frame of mind and you have to be the type of person that can work with that type of atmosphere.
However not all people can follow vdeos and feel they dont learn anything, lots of people are like this.
Try researching on places like this and try to look for some lessons if you just cant get on with DVDs.

While I listed that DVD above, thats only because it was asked for, Personaly, I believe that if you want to learn any martial art, you should go to a profesional trainer, be it at a class at a local gym, or a one on one session.
I dont believe that a dvd can teach you any more than a book.

Thanks for the posting the info about the videos. I have a friend who is very intersted in getting started in kickboxing and was wondering about dvds. I am going to pass this info.
