Default fruit

now that it is fruit season does anyone have any good fruit recipies?

i mostly just have fruit salads, but i know you can make a really good peach cobbler with fresh peach and then crushed almonds for the topping, i nice healthy alternative to the sugary crumble.

Mostly I just add fruit to whatever sweet I'm eating, or just eat it raw.
I did just make cherry rhubarb jam with my brother yesterday. 3 cups fresh chopped cherries. 1 cup rhubarb. One package pectin. Bring to a rolling boil (a rolling boil is when the boil doesn't go down when you stir). Add 4.5 cups of sugar, bring back to a rolling boil. Cook for one minute. Put in pre-heated canning jars and either seal or set aside for 24 hours before freezing.

There are some pretty simple recipes out there. The above recipe is pretty easy.
Some don't even require cooking. My mom makes strawberry jam without cooking.

Pectin. You mix chopped strawberries, citric acid (I think), sugar, and pectin, and it will gel up in something like 24 hours.
