Default Raw eggs

Alot of bodybuilders and fitness people eat raw eggs, for the protein I believe.
Have you ever tried it? They smell really bad and I can imagine taste horrible!

My roommate from college used to eat 2 raw eggs every day! He made me try them once and that is just not what I am craving to eat. I'll find another source of protein!

tried it one time years ago, and I'll never try it again. It's absolutely disgusting, I'll stick to getting my protein from a powder or normal food.

So I'm guessing you can't get the same amount of protein from a cooked egg Is this why people eat raw eggs? I wouldn't, that's gross!

I imagine it would have the same amouint of protein either way, I don't know why the whole raw egg thing began, maybe because of time?

I guess it could be time. Or maybe it is a sign of being tough and having guts...or at least a strong stomach....

I'd be willing to wager that a lot of people who can eat a raw egg or some other nasty junk can't take a punch. I don't think a strong stomach has any connection with being tough.

I don't know too many people who do this anymore. Most people just use protein shakes and powders to get their daily amount. If you want to get it from egg's you will be eating a lot of them (If you're a body builder that is).

All I can think of is the time my brother dared me to eat a raw egg and I did. Oh yuck. That was a very long time ago and I still can't stand the smell of a raw egg.
I have heard of people eating cooked egg whites.
I personally prefer cooking the whole egg.
