Default Gyms?

How many of you have gym memberships or do you do other things to work out? I used to just run and use a weight set I had at home but when I got a membership the equipment they had there was so much better and it was worth the small fee, I eventually just bought an annual package that was like... $200? Not bad.

I belong to the YMCA. They offer tons of family & child-oriented programs, so it's great for families.

I stay away from gyms, I prefer to workout outside. I love training in the open air. My husband made me a dirt track to run on and a 'workout center' with a bag, pegboard, a high and low pull up bar, a makiwara.....the list goes on. I'm glad we have great year round weather.

This is awesome! I wish we had more room in our back yard for something like this.

I walk with my husband, take a ballet fit class, and plan to enter more runs. I have been with a gym in a long time.

Awwwww maaaaaannn!!!!! That's so unfair. With our weather all that would be destroyed in weeks. That and the fact my wife would never let me do all that to our garden.

Am wwaiting til we move again and we'll look for somewhere with outbuildings so I can make one a dojo. Alas not for the forseeable future.

Gym memberships are great, if you use them lol.... I never seem to use them enough to make it worth it....

Incorporating physical activity into my day to day routine seems to work pretty good..... I also like having a Home Gym....

I have a gym membership. One of my jobs right now is taking care of my brother. He's fairly severely developmentally disabled, and so needs help getting out into the community and stuff. I take him to the gym twice a week for his benefit, but since I'm there anyway, I got myself a membership so that I could work out, too.

Well, it wasn't weeks, but my sun rotted bag is about to fall off the chains. Maybe a roof of some sort is in order.
