As a writer who is working on getting stuff published, I can't, in good conscience, steal other artists' work, as the practice of doing so has the potential to hurt me in the future.

i understand that logic. and if more artist do what radiohead did and sell their music themselves for whatever amount, i would alway pay for music. i just refuse to pad the pockets of greedy record labels.

I agree. Of course, the problem is that the first people to get hurt are the artists, then the labels.
And more artists are bypassing the labels. Myspace, iTunes, and other web-based advertisers are helping to get the word out about different bands without having to go through a big recording company.

yea, for workout music, you basically need hard-hitting euro-dance music.... nothing else does the job really. Search around on iTunes for "euro club hits"

My former instructor played rock, pop, hip-hop, and techno during class, which was his preference in music. Myself, frankly I found it distracting. I'd prefer no music at all.
