Default What do you do?

Is there a specific work out routine that you follow? How does it differ from the one you started out with?

Like my routine in fitness when i dont feel like doing anything else i run....that is my outlet!! I like doing that!

I dont really have a fitness routine like i used to when i was younger.

I do however go plently of brisk walks and also garden alot.

These two things together do keep me really fit without the hassle of a sweaty workout.

I like to keep to a rutine, doing situps and press ups in the morning, some stretches and some kicks/punches around dinner time, and then more situps and press ups in the evening. I do all this just to try and stay in shape a little ready for when I can start training again properly.

I usually try to follow a routine weekly. I work out about 4 times a week. Two days I am doing cardio and endurance training. The other days I am doing weight lifting and my karate class.

I try to follow a pretty strict routine every morning alternating running and punches and kicks one day then pushups, squats and sit-ups the next. I feel it clears my head and prepares me for the rest of my day. If I miss a day I feel like I don't reaaly function properly

I just do my tai chi every morning. I'm disabled so it's one of the only forms of activities I can do

I love to start my day with Tai Chi or yoga. It does seem to make the day off to a better start!

I'm trying to get my son interested - he has Spina Bifida & uses a wheelchair. I got him a video tape with a chair Tai Chi routine, but he's just not into it.

Some schools offer classes for students with special needs. Where we live there is a county program that directs students to schools (gymnastics, martial arts, dance, etc.) that offer classes tailored for students' needs. This may be more of an interest for him as there may be more kids his age doing it. Tai Chi is wonderful, although for many kids it is just too slow and boring.
