I haven't started any formal training, but plan on making martial arts a big part of my life. I will train and stay healthy and will just be a better person overall in my life I think

Ive been doing some form of martial arts for 10 years now and I just put my son into it as well, he is 8 years old.

I wish I had started when I was younger as I believe it puts you in to the best position to lead a long, healthy life.

I began my TKD training when I was 10. I stopped training for for about 7 years. And began again when I was 20. I have not stopped since. I plan to continue the rest of my life. For me and my family, it is a way of life. I would not know what life is like without martial arts!

I'm going to resurrect this topic because I think it's a good one. I've been involved for around 30 years...It's a great way to deal with stress and clear your mind.

It is a great topic! Another cool thing is anyone can do it, at any age.

One of my teachers always said to do hard martial arts while you're young and do tai chi when you're older.

I like his style!

For myself; I didn't start my training til far too late in life. I was about 17 and I have been doing various styles for the past 17 years, the last 10 of which I have been doing Jui-Jutsu. Hoping that one day I'll get the hang of it.
