Anyone else ever suffer from this? I found out from a recent blood panel that my TSH test (for thyroid function) is twice normal, which means I am massively hypothyroid. I suspect adrenal function is part of the picture as well, although I didn't test for that. That explains the constant exhaustion, muddled thinking, and the fact that I just can't stay awake. I don't have a doctor. The blood panel was gotten through a health fair. But a lot of doctors just push Synthroid at you. I've taken Synthroid. It helped, but doesn't entirely resolve the problem. That might be because it didn't address any adrenal problem.
Just wondering if anyone else was affected by this, and what you did. |

I haven't, but I have some friends on another forum who have. I'll ask them what they've been doing, and see if I can get an idea of how well it helped them.

I have Hypo-Thyroid and take Thyroxine every day. I felt a dramatic change in myself within a week of starting it. I too suffered from extreme fatigue, despite sleeping 12 hours+ per night. Now it's regulated I feel so much better, plus in the UK, it means I qualify for free prescription medication which is saving me quite a tidy sum each month
