Tae Kwon Do is great for 6 year olds. Be sure to check out the school first. Go and watch a few classes. Talk to some of the parents.
Tae Kwon Do does seem to be very popular. We start kids at 3 at our school. Of course it is a special class for 3-5 year olds. Taught as more of an intro to TKD. |

Hi Chip, i think that six years old is a good age to start. My cousin started Karate at the age of four and he advanced very fast. Children are more tolerable and flexible so they don't go through the same kind of pain as we adults do. lol
