Lightbulb Submission Fighting

Submission wrestling (also called submission grappling, submission arts wrestling or submission fighting) is a general term describing the aspect of martial arts and combat sports that focus on clinch and ground fighting with the aim of obtaining a submission using submission holds.
Submission wrestling is sometimes also considered a separate sport, with many grappling arts integrated into single system, and can include techniques from a wide range of arts.
Mixed martial arts schools and fighters may use the term "submission wresting" to refer to their grappling methods while avoiding association with any one art.

How do you see submission fighting?

Thats some nice information blue, thanks.
From what i can gather many different martial arts schools class submission fighting wih many different terms.
I have also looked on the internet and it seems there are many websites doing submission fighting tournaments so it must be quite popular.

it does seem very popular these days...

im not one for jumping on the bandwagon, but if submission is your bag, do what you love

i do respect the submission aspect in that it less intrusive as far as "hurting" someone

i dont have a problem with it.... you use many styles rolled into one to get the job done

I think submission fighting is what I do with my children day in and day out as I urge them to follow my rules and behave with respect toward one another and the world at large. LOL.
