i hate hughes.... i hate that guy so much..... just had to get that off my chest..... i am not sure if i am the only one watching this show, but i did just see the contraversial match and i gotta say it was not contraversal. yeah Dan got a couple of good hits, but almost everything Ben threw made contact and did damage. plus he was leading where Dan went and what he did..... it was a well deserved win. round 2 was clearly Ben's.
i think that Dana was thinking that Dan should have got a last chance because he was feeling guilty about the whole job quitting thing and the sick/psycho wife.... as far as hughes goes (god i hate that guy) he even said after the first round to Dan that he has got to get into the game because that might have been ben's round. then Hughes throws a fit? how professional. i really do not like that guy! i cannot wait till next episode where he throws a hissy fit. i hope he leaves the show! and once again Serra shows more class than Hughes by talking to Dan after and congradulating him on a good fight. i got to say, originally i was not going to watch this season because Serra and Hughes annoys me, but i am really impressed with Serra and have a lot of respect for him now...... guess he pulled a Tito ![]()

You're not the only one watching. I watch it too. I thought Hughes was a pretty cool guy after watching the dvd hughes/gracie but after he punished his guys and made them read the bible I thought that was going to far. Serra just seems like a more down to earth guy.

what do you think of the season so far? personally i would like the show in general if there was less drama, but i think this season has been ok for that. because most the drama is between the two coaches they show more of the training session and coaching which is nice. the thing i hated about the pen/jens season was all the in house drama!
do you have any predictions? i think Mac has a lot of potential, but i do not know if i want to cheer for him because although sometimes he seems likeable over all he seems like an ass (and i want Hughs to go down!). George seems really dedicated. but it is hard to say because all the guys have a lot of potential. but i really do not want to see Tommy advance. i think that technique is so important and that guy does not seem to get it. and a hate that hughes is ok with that. it also sends out the wrong message about MA in general. being a good MAist has little to do with being strong alone. in fact, you tend to have to be strong to compensate for your lack of skill in MA and i think that is especially true for BJJ.
