May 2008 Video of the Month
i chose this video because i have never see this style before. do any of you know anything about it?
of those of you that practice with weapons, what do you think of it? does it look effective? Silambam:

Five minutes of video and I saw a single effective maneuver, a block toward the beginning of the clip.
The rest of it is fancy flips and spinning. Really, really neat, and definitely stuff that I can't do, but not a martial art, in my opinion. Every one of the attacks looks tacked on, like it's a display art that someone wanted to make look like a martial art.
