Hopefully he'll see this and it will spur him to get his stuff, especially since now he has a storage unit.

As an elaboration, basically Bruce was able to use just one inch of kinetic movement through his body to throw a guy backwards into a chair with this punch.
The mechanics behind this are that with a straight punch you lead with your upper knuckle and have the rest of the fist cocked back and when that the knuckle of the index finger contacts you hinge forward with the rest of your fist so basically you punch twice with one hit. When you hinge your fist forward, you also push the punch through the rest of your body, you can see that in the video below where when he contacts, you can see his hips and lower body push as well as his arm. In the training section you go through a few exercises that bruce used to perfect the technique, very useful even if you don't want to use this technique. The book covers the famous 1 inch punch as well as the easier to make work 3 inch punch. When bruce used the full punch and not just the end move where you straighten your fist it is said that he could burst someone's heart. While I never got that much training into the move... whenever I set my knuckle on my brother's arm as the prepretory action to the punch, he stopped doing whatever he was doing that was annoying me. The book is by James DeMille, and it was very informative on the subject: Amazon.com: Bruce Lee's 1 and 3 Inch Power Punch: James W. I have asked her and she is slowly searching through it... remember that bike that my ex told me she didn't have any more? Well she found it this weekend hanging in the rafters. Hanging in the rafters! How do you not see something that is hanging up above everything else?!?! Well regardless, I will just buy the book used from Amazon if I have to in order to have it in my hands once more.
